How to read Fighting silhouettes

Read the stance before the details. Raised fists, extended legs, balanced feet, broad shoulders, and a forward lean reveal how the design is meant to fight.

  1. Compare arm-to-leg proportions to separate punch-focused, kick-focused, and grappling silhouettes.
  2. Gloves, wrist shapes, belts, head crests, and wrapped-looking limbs remain visible even without color.
  3. Dual types can add wings, flames, steel spikes, ghostly hair, or dragon proportions to an otherwise athletic stance.
  4. Some Fighting Pokémon use a quadruped or grouped body plan, so do not restrict the search to humanoids.

Silhouettes that are easy to confuse

Boxer or kicker?

Boxers emphasize large hands and guarded shoulders; kickers shift visual weight toward long legs and smaller upper bodies.

Fighter or ordinary humanoid?

A Fighting silhouette usually has a deliberate stance, pronounced joints, or guarded hands rather than a neutral upright pose.

Single fighter or formation?

Count repeated helmets, shields, or feet before assuming several aligned shapes are parts of one body.

Fighting Pokémon by generation

Use the distribution to choose a smaller era to study next. Counts refer to the generation where each species was introduced.
